The Miners get a quick vacation from El Paso to visit Birmingham and take on the UAB Blazers. UTEP QB Jordan Palmer is averaging roughly 275 passing yards and 2 TD's in simulated match-ups, nearly 150 yards and 1 TD more than UAB QB Chris Williams. Of course, you also have to watch for Palmer to throw at least 1 INT. The anemic Miner rushing game will doubtfully produce any points, whereas the Blazers have 2 RB's who are rushing for 1 TD a piece in more than 50% of simulations with Dan Burks and Corey White. UAB should put up a valiant fight at home, but look for the Blazers to be edged out by UTEP.
